Air NZ to announce cheaper entry level domestic airfares

According to Stuff

https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/110...omestic-routes

Interesting. Obviously a reflection of the soft domestic market.

Wonder if this will have any effect on SP/APD earn

Is this a consequence of the JQ competition?

Will be interesting to see what routes and if it is seats on flight or seats on a route e.g. Rush hour gets no cheap and Saturday afternoon gets more.

Also wonder if part of longer push on Q300 routes to push them to ATR72 loads? As still no indication what Air Nelson going to do close like Eagle or get some ATR42s

Hopefully it will not cut in SP earn too much.......... Though guess have a monopoly on regional routes. And reading Stuff focus is regional?

28.9" seat pitch on the A320CEOs?

Or will the 3x A320CEO's being transferred to Domestic operate under an LCC banner? SJ2.0

Could NZ had an tip-off that VA is going to launch TT on flights within New Zealand.

I suspect you won't be spending many weekends in Napier. 😀

My pick is they're simply doing exactly what they say - cutting entry level fares on some routes.

This will simply mean entry more entry level pricing at current GAS price points but on more flights and not limited to GAS deals.
