ZQN Nights Flights from July?
SMH has published tonight that from July NZ will start winter night flights to AKL from ZQN and will be on sale from next week.
They also claim that NZ is adding 15% or 100,000 seats on AKL-ZQN from 1 July for FY17. Would that be each way or 50/50? that would average would to 277 seats an day. On the plus side an 1930 ZQN-AKL winter service would be welcome on an Sunday Night. |
This is what Australian Aviation has
AKL - ZQN -> 1935-2125* Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sun only ZQN - AKL -> 1930-2120* Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sun only Not sure where they got it from but I like the sound of it if it's true. Being an Australian, I wouldn't mind some later flights back to Oz at say 6-7pm ish but this will never happen. |

I have a booking ZQN/HNL/ZQN in J and O class for an August return that showed the APD and SP going but not returning until today when it displayed correctly but it also showed a schedule change. Rang and got the new flight details but then it again did not show the APD or SP for the return flight. The great news was that we can now return to ZQN on the same day as we return from HNL without having to stay at the Novotel overnight. Thank goodness I had delayed booking the hotel stay and thank you Air New Zealand. We were the first seats booked on that flight!!!!! |
