Rearrange flights
I would like to rearrange one flight on my Around-The-World ticket (in December) which I booked via travel agency. The contact person on the hotline just told me that I have to contact my travel agent, because they won't do that. The travel agency is on vacation at the moment and I am afraid I am not able to get free seats if I wait for them to come back.
Is it really true that Air New Zealand can not rearrange the flight data?

If you haven't flown any sectors yet then the airlines will almost never touch the ticket. If the first sector is flown then usually the issuing airline will make changes, but this can be problematic over the life of the ticket, as NZ*Trout found out recently.
