Boeing 777 First Officer Steve Morrissey missing in Hong Kong

Air NZ's Boeing 777 First Officer Steve Morrissey has gone missing after splitting up with his hiking partner (another Air NZ pilot) on the Wilson Trail in Hong Kong's New Territories.

All the best to Steve and his family and hope that he resurfaces safe and well very soon.

+1 Terrible news and I really hope he is home, safe and well soon and once again gracing the skies with NZ.

I'm afraid to inform it appears the search has taken a turn for the worse. At 2.30pm today, Hong Kong Police located the body of Steve Morrissey near the Wilson Trail.

My sincere condolences to Steve's friends, family, and colleagues. From what I have heard he seemed like a great guy who will be sorely missed.
