Cool NW flights in V class earns 25 or 100% miles !?!?

Who knows how many points are earned flying NW with V-class ticket?

Air France site indicates 100%, KLM site (Dutch treat?) indicates 25%.

I was on a domestic all-NW-ticket last week, 2 legs out in V, two legs return in T... To my surprise all miles posted 100%.

Maybe only V-class on NW when booked on a KL-itin will give you 25%.

Interesting...never have actually flown a NW V after the new rules, but the difference between V & Q can be as high as $150 on routes I fly. Did your trip originate in USA or Europe?

Anyone else with full earning NW-coded V class? or 25%

25% for me, unfortunately, I usually try to get a Q-class ticket which is sometimes only $20-30 more. Interestingly, all lower fare classes, e.g. K-class give full miles.

It was JFK-MSP-DLH in V, DLH-MSP-JFK in T...

Mine were international @ 25%, let me check Mrs. cfischer's account, I recall that she had some domestic V-class segments this summer.

Correct, which is one of the reaons why this is so insane. Booking ahead on klm.com I can only get dozens of different flight options all in V class. If I call up reservations I can get the same flights in T class; after the phone reservation fee, it works about about 20 Euros different. So what on earth is the point?

Even worse, I just booked a dirt cheap FRA-BOS-FRA ticket on CO (322 all in, the cheapest AF/KL flight would have been 489!)in L-class which would earn only 50% on CO and NW, but strangely enough 100% on FB . Other airlines give 100% miles on whatever you purchase on their own metal (or website, like CO, which I think is reasonable); FB rewards you if you DO NOT fly AF/KL giving you 100% miles on DL, CO, and AZ. This is insane, I agree, but as long as there are ways around the 25% earning classes, I am not too much worried. Rule No.1, whatever would make sense, do the opposite and you will hit FB policies right on.

Thats why I didn't step on a KL plane in 2005 but I did on KQ, NW, AF, AZ and according to FB remain a plat for the 06-07 year
