fast track to Silver/Gold/Platium ended june 30 who's got their new status?

I called and they told me that they gonne check the people who got registrated for this fast track ( or returning to old status )

They told me that it could taken a month to upgrade the accounts.

I am tired of waiting, what's the point of using computers, KLM will be slow.

I hope that my status will be upgraded before july.

Pascal.

I doubt that you will be upgraded to a higher status before August 2005.

It says in the T&C (http://www.e-messenger.nl/klmfd/hopon/termsenglish.htm)

...If the criteria are met, higher service benefits will only be awarded as of August 2005. KLM shall notify participants by e-mail....

Can someone please just remind me what you had to do to qualify (i.e., in terms of miles or flights)?

I registered (on the basis that "I might as well") but can't remember how many flights I was supposed to do and can't now seem to find the information. I've done a fair number of trips just recently, so I may well have made the target - but I can't remember what it is!

Aviatrix, I can't recall the amount of miles needed for regaining the next level, but I do know that you can also fly 20 segments for it.

And that was from 1 March, right? In that case I think I've done it!

Better check that everything has posted... was still a couple short when I last looked (was missing flights I took on 29 and 30 June).

Why not get your new status from july 1?

Is it true that your status will be upgraded from aug 1, and if Yes, why is this?

I have a flight ams-chicago, so there goes my bonus?

Pascal.

This was a special promotion, and it's up to them to set the terms for any special promotions they run.

The terms were clearly stated in the email that was sent out, and we accepted those terms when we went to their web site to enrol in the promotion.

If I remembered correctly, it is the end of July (probably beg. of August) when the new status will be effective.

Will see, only 10 days left for July.

Going by their past track record we'll probably get our new cards around Christmas...

My missing flights have been credited, so I should receive my new card in due course. Guess I should be forever grateful to my mother for having a birthday in June, to my friends in Michigan for getting married in June, and to my company for sending me on a conference...

Thought this would be worthy of a bump as it's August 1st and i'm sooooo confident that my new card will drop through the letterbox in an hour or so....

(Shall we have some bets as to when they will actually arrive? I'd say round about Christmas!)

Interestingly enough all pursers from KLM received by accident a functioning Platinum Elite card on the day of Flying Blue's introduction. They were told to keep the card and enjoy the lounge access. Maybe the Flying Blue Powers that Be ran out of plastic to issue cards to the paying customers?
