Does anyone by any chance have the list for KLM fare classes other than D is award/upgrade in business, and W is econ, or know where it is?

Thanks
John

First of all - did you read the first post in this thread? The award/upgrade classes are listed in there.

P, F and A* are First class, JCDIZ and O* business, and everything else is economy (W* X*) (* = award/upgrade class). And note that Sabre doesn't give you all booking classes, as well I always try another method if the results seem to be a bit strange (e.g. 0 availability in First class... though in this case it is correct). BTW: check the note in the first post about long-haul award classes display.

It is almost impossible to have F seat with the online booking engine. You must call them directly to get a seat

Lost with KVS and award availability

Dear all,

Just started to give KVS a try for the following reason:
I wanted to see if there is an possibiltiy to book a business class award ticket next summer to to the Dutch Antilles.

However the results of KVS confuse me.
If e.g. I try ams-cur on july 6, 2007 I get (with Apollo: ITN as I am using the lite version):

[KVS Availability Tool 2.5.2/Lite - Apollo: ITN/US-TNT]

AMS Amsterdam-Schiphol NL [EHAM]
CUR Curacao Aeropuerto Hato AN
VR 06 jul 2007

KL 735 AMS 12:00 CUR 15:55 M11 0 J9 C4 Z4 S9 B9

From what I learned in this thread D is the code for business class award and W is for economy. Thus according to Apollo there should be no availability for that day.

However, if I go to the FB web site award booking tool it will happily mention availability for that day and allow me to reserve 4 seats.

Same thing if I go for different dates or for different islands (bon - bonaire or aua - aruba).
No D or W codes in KVS still according to the award selector plenty of availability.

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks alot! FM

PS: if someone has better options to look into the system:
if you can provide me on any info on business class availability for ams to aua, bon or cur during july (and back about 3 weeks later), I would greatly appreciate this!
