APG ACCESS offers non-GDS airlines, tour operators and charter airlines the opportunity to place some or all of their inventory onto GDS on a pay as you go basis. It avoids the hefty GDS implementation fees and the lengthy timelines required for GDS implementation.

[...]

Through APG ACCESS your flights will be displayed on the major GDSs worldwide. Each of your flights will be allocated a “A1” flight number, the system code of APG and loaded into all GDSs.
One theory is that an (new?) operator of inter-airport minibus/limousine shuttles is looking to put its inventory into the GDS and increase its marketing, perhaps on the theory that the short-haul flight equivalents may be slow to return / suspended due to enviro-meddling in future.

Just my groundless speculation.

This is so unfortunately true. Especially when living in Maastricht.
I could not count the number of "Rijdt niet" (Does not operate in Dutch) displays I encountered in those parts 5 years, and I am maybe using their services only once every quarter...

You're right that this is very weird whether for public or private consumption (back-end suggested as far easier to make a fat fingered mistake or a command that got a little out of hand).

International coaches don't appear to be running (I saw a Flixbus here in Maastricht, but it was on NS rail replacement service), though international buses are running down here in the south (De Lijne and TEC are back.
I guess quoting myself is weird, but I was playing around to see where else RocketVan could take me, and if you select Dusseldorf-Brussels and sort by cheapest, RocketVan will offer you a connecting service via Amsterdam.

Oh gosh yes. So many occasions you get turfed off at Eindhoven in the event of disruption or cancellations. The two track section from Eindhoven to Maastricht is a real bottle neck.

I don't tend to go that way all that much. Ironically, given this discussion, I quite often prefer Dusseldorf (one hour 15 mins drive) or Brussels (awkward train or easy taxi). My old boss preferred Schiphol which was a huge inconvenience. Now I've changed boss I am free of the painful trundle to the north from The Democratic People's Republic of Maastricht.

Same here. BRU or DUS are my favourite departure points, especially DUS (Glad to have a car to get there though) Too bad the skyteam options are so limited from there...

Slightly prefer Brussels, but Dusseldorf is so so easy by car, and the parking is very convenient. The train, on the other hand, is only marginally quicker than walking.

As you say, ST is pitiful, but the six-ish pm flight connects nicely onto the 20.40 to Nairobi, and that Nairobi flight is a bit of a regular haunt.

Looks like we might be neighbors then...

I didn't even know RegioJet had a line to The Hague, always just FlixBus parked on that awkward temporary stop. Apparently, they do, once a week now. I believe they also ran some repatriation services back in March and April.

170 km in 1.5h (NRN) and 230km (DUS) in 2h ? That's an average speed of 115km/h.
What is the transport mean ? Bus doesn't work at this speed...

They are registered with an office at the Herengracht in Amsterdam. That address is a start-up co-working space. The social media links on their website just link to the facebook/twitter homepage rather than an actual profile. Their team members apparently don't have surnames.

Their domain URL has been registered 'anonymously' through GoDaddy, and their website hosted by the same company - which is extremely uncommon for a European business.

Impossible travel times are probably set up this way to show on the top of the search results when sorting flights by shortest travel time?

In my mind red flashing warning lights are going off.

This is terrible news. DUS needs Cityhopper service to keep SkyTeam alive in Germany.
