9 000 Miles for a broken IFE on a 10 hours flight

Hi !

My IFE ( as well as my neihgbour's) was broken on my AF flight from ORY to RUN yesterday. After trying to reinitialize it a couple of times, it still did not work and there was no other seat options.
We got offered 9 000 miles as a compensation. Do you think it is a fair "compensation" ?

Thanks !

Bear in mind that the CDG-AMS was in business class, though (and the traveler FB Plat)

Another data point but sorry it's on KLM, long-haul, business class, some months ago: 220 in vouchers for a broken IFE that didn't work after reboots (and no other seat available). There was a miles option, 20000 if I remember correctly.

Seems a bit low to me but in line with the lower compensations in miles they tend to give since last FB changes. Some of you may remember that, last year, I reported here that they proposed me initially 10K for one week without suitcase after a long-haul flight in paid J. And I am Club2000 Ultimate. Go figure

I can confirm this, recently on a flight in J from AMS to Asia, 200 EUR voucher for broken IFE. It was not possible to turn the system off, so also had to sleep with the screen and handheld on.

Funny thing happened this week. I sent one claim about the non working USB ports on the my 2 flights CDG RBA & RBA CDG + dirty seat (only on one flight, it was really dirty and had a used tissue left in the pocket) and received 2 mails with compensation. It seems AF customer care service got confused. First person offered me 10K miles and second person gave me 8K. Got 18k total! wont complain!

it really depends on the person managing your request !

Thank you all for your reply ! I guess I will just leave it like this and accept the compensation without any further complaint

Got 115CHF (95 in april) voucher for broken IFE on ABJ - CDG (the direct flight) in PE. The system was not functionning for the whole of Eco and PE. Compared to what most of you got, seems really really low ...
