Codes next to PAX names
Hi team!
Flying KLM as a DL PM with my parents (also PMs) and we had to get rebooked, during which I was able to see the agent’s information screens. Next to our names there were codes “NDPU, PDST, Service,” and a red exclamation point. Can anyone here shed some light on what these might mean, and what other codes like this are used?

NDPU means No Discount on Paid Upgrades, i.e. full price upgrade prices f enquired about or proactively offered - source
PDST means Paid Seat - source and source2
Service means you need service recovery - which is why you were talking to an agent and peering at their screen ;-)

Most likely having benefitted from a number of such offers in the (recent) past.
Discounts are only offered when the revenue management's software does its magic and comes up with limited scenarios in which they may decide to offer all/some a proactive discount upgrade.
If anyone is selected for a discount offer, you are pro-actively informed; you do not find this out only by asking.
Please look at the long-running thread following all such offers and ask any further upgrade-specific questions there:
New policy for paid and miles upgrades (AF/KL) - sept 2017
