X class fare code KLM
 

Hi, booking a trip from AMS to Australia and looking at a KLM/Singapore & Malaysia/KLM routing. I'm crediting to Delta and know I won't earn anything on the Singapore & Malaysia legs. I'm ok with that given the KLM flights are long (AMS-SIN, KUL-AMS), so I'll earn full MQMs there + some % for miles earned (+ convenient flights for my schedule). I'm trying to figure out the % for the miles earned part, which I know comes down to the fare code.

Two questions:

1) While booking on KLM, for the AMS-SIN-MEL route, it says the travel class is X/Q. Does that mean it's X for leg 1 and Q for leg 2?
2) If so, I don't even see X class listed on the Delta partner earning page. Any ideas on if that means I earn zero for Delta or I missing something?

what is the exact full code for each klm flight ?

Way there = XX3PRNL
Way back = ELXSRNL

Usually the first letter is the one you need to consider , delta may be different but thats how it works in most caes , therefore X dont earn anything and E gives you 50%

To earn something it has to be operated by a skyteam airline and sold with a skyteam code , the Q you saw is probably about the flight SIN-MEL

i hope you havent paid for these tickets yet, cause AMS-SIN is quite long flight and you could earn a lot of MQM

Unfortunately, I think these X class legs earn nothing (it might have to do with redemptions also booking into X class, and DL not wanting to go through the hassle of checking the fare basis to see if its revenue or not). It sucks. See here:
