Fare Trouble

Hi -

I am new to the KLM World and have a question

When searching google flights for TLV-CDG-MSP-TLV in May I get a great fare of $850, but when i click though to klm.com it jumps to $1100

Any idea how to force the lower fare?

We are talking about:
19-May AF 1321
21-May AF 3616 BOS AF 2119
28-May KL 6060 AMS KL 461

google make a quote but the real one to decide the price is the airline (for instance some airlines dont want their prices to be displayed in google)

check if this price you saw isnt a 3rd party like skyscanner or something else

you can change dates and probably prices will be lower

I've had a similar issue with Google flights stating a certain pice, AF website offers the same price, but when clicking the button to go to the payment page, price spikes up with a couple of hundred euro's. Called the Platinum line and they said the websites availability and pricing synchronization is not real time, so it could be that advertised prices are not available anymore.
Not sure if you can believe this though

It's not just AF btw, had exactly the same issue couple of days ago booking an SA flight, prices on the airline website were completely different than google flights

do try the AF website. KL website has lower availability sometimes (e.g. KL website will not let me buy an all KL marketed OK operated itinerary, AF will. KL forces a flight on KL metal, which is often more expensive)

You need to make sure that the flight codes are exactly the same. Due to married segments, having BOS MSP on DL or AF code can make a big difference on the availability on CDG BOS for example.
For instance on AF and KL website, impossible to get the right combination of AF flights via Boston, so the fare cannot be obtained.
