Qualification
Hi I know this has probably been asked before,

I qualified for plat on November 2013, does 2013 count as a year of qualification? Or does it start counting from 2014?

The counter starts on the date you qualified.

Yes. With Plat benefits valid from the date of qualification in year N (2013 in your case) to 31 March N+2.

If your question is about Platinum for Life qualification then I encourage you to do a search as it has been extensively discussed here.
