Post Promo Awards July 2018

Hi

here they are

https://www.flyingblue.pl/en/flights/promo-rewards

this month west indies , asia and africa are the highlights but north/south america are also there

Since the recent changes about miles , how does the dynamic prices look like for you ?

For me not that bad ! But i noticed an increase of prices for some destinations like DXB

Question , how does the option Share&Fly works with the FB amex ?

It was removed from all the websites and I asked FB about how to do but they haven't replied yet.
I noticed at the bottom of the last Amex statement that they say to call customer services for any Share&Fly transfer.

Why don't they show the prices for the offers at the beginning of the page?

because since the recent changes , prices for awards tickets are ''dynamic'' , therefore depends on your origin airport (eg: a flight to NYC will not cost the same from LHR or IST) . read quote below and check the dedicated thread

Honestly iam checkin now and its not always true , it is per case

Change 3: dynamic pricing of award tickets (on AF/KL/HV)

Another change will be that award tickets will have dynamic pricing, e.g. an award AMS-JFK could be more expensive than an award DUS-AMS-JFK. This is also in line with change 2, as flights from AMS are also more expensive than flights from DUS (you also earn more miles).

This also implies that we will see a difference in the number of miles required per flight. For example, an award from continental Europe to continental USA will currently set you back 25,000 miles for a one-way in economy. It does not matter if you fly to LAX or NYC, the number of miles is currently fixed. Under the new proposition, this will change. The cheaper flight (in this example: NYC) will see a slight reduction in the number of miles required, whilst LAX will see a slight increase in the number of miles required.

Furthermore, there will be a standard base level for the number of miles required per destination. As the standard revenue price increases, so does the number of award miles.

+1 HNS

Between the new flying blue website which doesn't show the amount of miles, the AF site which is not updated (it still displays Promo Awards of June) and without the possibility to search on time frame (+/- 3 days), it's getting harder and harder to get the information.

For whoever might be interested : 76k miles for R/T between CDG and SEZ in Business is quite a deal I think...

How can you be sure?

But for Cork, they have instead used a photograph of Cobh.

Clicking on "book now" takes you to the normal booking page. I entered random dates 9-30 September and got 150.000+ each way. Promo????

Because the link is at af.pl, I tried ex WAW. Same dates generated a "no availability" answer.

This new FB is pathetic. What are they looking for?

Only 90k miles. Return!

(I like the new Flying Blue. It appears that most people won't bother to find the deals now )

dont forget that prices are dynamic , and depends on the day and origin you may not always find promo awards seats available

also now you cant have a calendar view as before (even +/- 3 days) , so everytime you need to restart your search

Oops , i did it again ! about availability from WAW , same answer , either there is a bug , either you are looking at a date without offers
