OLCI not possible, check in not possible due to DL "E", upgraded at the gate for 568 USD directly to the upper deck. JFK-AMS.

LHR-CDG: €249
CDG-FNA: €449 from Y to W!!!!!

I think someone in Paris is having fun with me this morning! Imagine paying an extra €449 for 6 hours of torture in AF W! It’s usually offered at around €180.

I had last year the “special” offer of 190.000 miles on the A380 from JFK to CDG. And that was from J to P.
I was offered this when checking my luggage in at the counter, there was no offer in the app.
I didn’t even have 190.000 miles and if I did I wouldn’t spend it on upgrading from J to P, I’d rather buy a P reward ticket then.

see the logic with my 3399 EUR or 179900 miles
in your case : 1 mile = 124,86 EUR
in my case : 1 mile = 52,66 EUR
go figure...

Is this still the case on AF?

In 2017 some people mentioned that if upgrading your seat the old fare policy for baggage remained in effect.
Would upgrading from Y to W on a long haul increase baggage allowance to two bags?

Thanks!

So I took again 72A on the upper deck for AMS-JFK but helped myself a bit...I changed the country from UK to Czech, giving me upd price 12.808CZK which was about 3GBP cheaper than using Revolut and paying GBP, I changed it to Italian to see what the price is exactly in € and hey, 469€....not much saving but I though worth sharing....
