lots of space in everything
thank you so so much! If our UAL flight falls though, I'm excited about getting on the A380.

If it's overbooked all across, where would you want them to upgrade you into?

i am just asking, I dont know how it works! i thought they kept some J seats and will offer upgrades at lower prices to some Y passengers but from your answer i understand it does not work like that.
they will have to rebook some people then?

AF oversell all cabins except for F, it is very unlikely that they kept some J seats 'hidden' to offer them as upgrades, if they had available seats they would try and sell them, J fares easily go over 3-4K and more for last minute bookings.
If everyone shows up and no last minute changes/cancellations then yes, some pax will have to be rebooked, the SIN-AMS flight looks pretty open in Y so it shouldn't be too difficult

Thanks, yeah i was thinking about this one as well which is just 2 hours later. do they propose rebooking based on status, fare class, paid or award ticket, or just randomly?

I'd say "randomly" but that's probably incorrect, obviously there is an algorithm behind it, e.g. if they have Y pax with final destination of AMS, it makes sense to me that they will be the first ones to be re-routed...
Luckily for AF, there are plenty of flights leaving to Europe after the CDG flight, so plenty of options.
