There's a deal on at Alitalia for business fares from TLV to various useful European destinations (like AMS) and I noticed that TLV is quite cheap in business from Milan (about €356). So you could effectively nest two trips, if such a thing is still allowed, and earn quite a lot of Flying Blue miles. Check Alitalia's Italian website for the ex-MIL deal (you can set in English). For those based in Amsterdam after segments rather than miles (like me) who don't have a lot of time to spend segment running, I recently found that at least until the end of the year you can book AMS-LHR-AMS same-day returns on Saturdays from 120 EUR.

Not the same value as those NUE-AMS-IST deals obviously but if you don't have time (and don't want to spend on lodging) then this may be interesting.

5€cpm EQM: Saudi CDG-RUH-MNL-RUH-CDG Biz €1158ai Fare code: IETHNFR

With 23206 EQM and 38676 total miles for Plat, this one must be the best I have ever seen, with 5€cpm for EQM and 3€cpm for Plat members !!!

Try on skyscanner.fr... I just tried some random dates in February (17-25) and found some availability on ebookers.fr
By the way, the juiciest part is that there is only 80€ penalty on cancellation ;-)

Mileage Run to Manilla for new year

Hi SteamyUncle. Thanks for the tip. I also decided to do a mileage run on Saudia to Manilla via Riyadh & Jeddah. Departure Jan 1st, Return Jan 3rd. 1212€ via ebookers (not available on expedia or Saudia). Business Class D & I = 38676 Miles & 23206 Miles Status as a platinum member

currently HAM-AMS-IST-AMS-HAM booked via kayak is available for 100€ - from other German airports for 110€.
