Acces to lounge with wife and baby

Hi,

I am FB Gold, and in the near future I'm travelling with my wife an baby who is 6 months old. Loungeacces is normally only for 1 guest only, but does anyone know if KLM in Netherlands and Delta in US makes exceptions for little kids?

Thanks

My understanding is that infants (ie <2 year old) do not count as guests and you should be fine, but I've admittedly not got direct experience.

Hello

I never had problem as well except once in Lisbon Airport (LIS).
Very strange because Portugal is generally a very "child welcome" country.
I asked then if it was possible to let my wife and my son go alone (even if I was the frequent flyer) and they were agreed.
Lounge was not very pleasant according to my wife anyway.

So expect this experience, I never encounter issues, especially when my kid was young.

Smile Admitted with kids

Interestingly, I was admitted with wife and 2 kids (8 and 10yrs old) at both DenPasar and Singapore yesterday as FB Gold. Unlikely to happen in AMS !!!

Admitted with wife and 2 kids (2 and 4) in BRU, AMS (yes, yes!), FCO and SUF.
Not tried CDG 2G for obvious reasons

Admitted with wife and kids (7 and 11 today) in the following lounges :
CDG 2E / S1 (80% of the cases), CDG 2E / gate K (60%), ORY Patio (always), BOD (always as access is done through access code), JNB (automatic), JFK, MRU (children are accepted by default as they have a specific space for them)

By the way, I have received a personal survey from AF about my opinions for granting automatically children in lounges : other airlines design more a more a specific space for them and AF might match this trend (like EK, Ethihad or Air Mauritius)

Is there an age limit for the baby, or are babies of all ages welcome?
