I expected new promos to be loaded on 1 April. But none.
There is not a single promo available in any class from/to Asia. Not even in Economy.
To North America, no promo available for travel in April and May. In June only Boston in (AF, Y, 50%) and Houston (KL, Y, 25%). Similar situation to Central/South America.
This is basically the end of the Promo Award.

Well, this is how the new Promo Awards work.
As the site itself says:
All current offers are for travel in June and July.

"limited" availability for April
This is indeed a mistake and should be rectified.

I emailed Flying Blue about the lack of availability from NCL to FRA.
They replied quickly, thanking me for my fax but just gave a general response about availability not being guaranteed.
I only booked my first promo award last month (Europe to Helsinki) without problems so assumed that there'd at least be some availabity on those Europe to ... promos from NCL if you got in early enough?
I notice all the European promos on KLM have availability at the promo rates from NCL but neither of the AF ones do.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye on it to see if anything appears.
I wondered if I could make use of the Leeds 7.5K promo but there's only 10K offered to/from FRA and I've got 16K miles left.
Maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't go to the Sinn factory outlet to buy that watch I fancy.

BOS-Europe/Europe-BOS is looking great in terms of price and availability at the 12,500 economy class price level in each direction.

That's actually quite a good price if the taxes aren't too stupidly high. It might be helpful to try to put together a collection of ideas for the best ways to redeem in economy, because I am certainly not going to redeem 6 million miles or whatever it costs for a premium cabin seat these days.
Not really wishing to bump the other thread, but what is the general feeling about the Avis Accumulator coming back this year? I see no sign of it so far, and although it was troublesome it was certainly a way to make a chunk of miles. That would be an appropriate April Promo, but for collecting rather than spending!
