Optiontown upgrades on UX?
 

It does feel strange to be back after I quit FB due to the April Fool's Day changes but I do miss you all, ladies and gentlemen. And my question is related to UX which is an FB airline. So here goes

Has anyone used Optiontown.com for UX upgrades? Strangely, there's no mention of it on FT with regard to Air Europa - is this a new option?

My girlfriend is booked to South America and back (both flights are on an A330). What shall she expect should the upgrade come through? Lounge access? Biz class miles (as seems to have been the case with Malev)? Is UX J seat and service anything to write home about? Surely anything is better that their Y class but still, how much do you think we should agree to pay for the upgrade? (We have not received the quote yet).

Bumping up this thread if anyone has any insight. I am thinking about upgrading an air europa flight using optiontown. Main question: does it earn business class miles? I guess luggage allowance is the one of business class, correct?

Having used Optiontown on Cyprus Air this December, mileage earning was Economy but but Business Class service (luggage allowance, etc).
