Air Europa P booking class - earns anywhere?
Just booked very cheap flights to MIA with UX. The booking class is P. Checked almost all SkyTeam FFPs and seems in none of them P is included in mileage earning. True or any chances?

If it indeed earns 25%, the 220 euro fares from Europe to US might be worth a mileage run..

As I found a cheap fare in UX's P class, I have submitted the question to FB Helpdesk.
A FB representative called me back today and confirmed that P does not earn any miles on UX flights.
Now I'm a bit confused regarding the info given by Mokshu which is usually quite reliable.

I agree. But unfortunately there are many things that don't make much sense with UX.

It's not unheard of - Singapore Airlines also doesn't grant miles on its cheapest economy fares. You could say that it benefits those who don't use/collect FFP miles, as otherwise they're paying (an admittedly very small) premium on the fares they pay for the benefit of something they will never use (the cost of the airmiles).
