Air Europa P booking class - earns anywhere?

Just booked very cheap flights to MIA with UX. The booking class is P. Checked almost all SkyTeam FFPs and seems in none of them P is included in mileage earning. True or any chances?

P earns 25% on UX flights for Flying Blue.

Are you sure this doc is up to date? As per AF.com:

Economy Class - all other flights: 100% – B, M, Y
75% – K
50% – O, V, W, X
25% – A, E, H, L, N, Q, R, S, T, U

I find it strange that there are fares that wouldn't earn any miles in it's own FFP...

Where does this data come from? As its different than posted on klm.com / af.com

If it indeed earns 25%, the 220 euro fares from Europe to US might be worth a mileage run..

I think they must have changed it (recently) as it is not listed on partnersearch(KLM) anymore either.

Unfortunately it's not listed... Great.

It was for sure listed in December. How does FB handle retroactively implemented rules?

As I found a cheap fare in UX's P class, I have submitted the question to FB Helpdesk.
A FB representative called me back today and confirmed that P does not earn any miles on UX flights.

Now I'm a bit confused regarding the info given by Mokshu which is usually quite reliable.

I can confirm that. I flew on UX with P class, miles didn't show up so I sent BP to claim, the answer was NO :/

Same here.

I agree. But unfortunately there are many things that don't make much sense with UX.

Mokshu dated that file as June 2010. That's a long time ago. Things change. KLM's Partnersearch is updated as and when changes are implemented.

It's not unheard of - Singapore Airlines also doesn't grant miles on its cheapest economy fares. You could say that it benefits those who don't use/collect FFP miles, as otherwise they're paying (an admittedly very small) premium on the fares they pay for the benefit of something they will never use (the cost of the airmiles).
