Is the soft landing still in place since the enhancement of rollover status miles for elites ?
I ask because I made Plat this year so will have it for 2014 but doubt I will be able to achieve again next year with the AF/KL flights I have planned. If soft landing still in place then provided I credit some flights which I will, then I will have Gold in 2015 still. Is this correct ?
If I were to only make Gold in 2014 then I would still only have Gold status in 2015 anyway so it would make sense for me to concentrate on maintaining my *G status in 2014 and then FB status again in 2015.
Can somebody confirm my thinking is correct ?
