I think these are ajustments made in advance regarding the AF/KL/DL/AZ subclass alignment for TATL flights. But there might be some devaluation too, I agree.

Mokshu,
Nothing against you, as I very much value the information you provide.
However:
Earnings on DL flights for DL Skymiles:
- All economy fares: 100%
- All business class fares: 150%
How is this alignment?
Cheers,
GenevaFlyer

Not alignment with the SkyMiles program; alignment of fare codes within Flying Blue.
Fares M, H, Q and U on Delta have now been aligned to earn the same levels as these fares codes on KLM flights; after this change, all fare codes that are common to both Delta and KLM earn at the same rates:
on KL:
100% – B, S, X
75% – M
50% – H, K, L, Q
25% – E, G, N, T, U, V

Discounted economy fares earn between 4 to 8 times more mileage (depending on regular promotions).
While some of the most expensive economy fares earn double mileage on Skymiles.
That is why every dog's brother is elite in the US and why Delta needs a new level of Diamond that trumps our Platinum Elite taking away scarce benefits from the few remaining elite FB members.

Another truly pathetic change. FB offers some people to requalify for less, then it further lowers the already massively lowered earnings on a major partner in the midst of a significant economic crisis. This is rather sad. Compare this to BA which has recently announced some significant improvement all round but particularly around their new JV with AA. Now, no BA flight will earn under 50% Tier Points even the cheapest, and all will earn 100% miles in economy, and earnings on partners IB and AA have been significantly improved. to FB...
