Problems with crediting miles recently?
Did some of you have issues with crediting their miles recenlty?
I have had some domestic AF flights the past week and the miles have not yet shown on the account. Usually it takes 24 or 48 hours but now there is still nothing. |
My case as well - two segment early this week, and a segment from a week ago...
|
Same problem. Flew tuesday ex-ORY, usually credits in 48 hours. Nothig yet after 5 days. Must be the announced change of systems. Keep your BP!
|
Yes I also noticed it currently takes a bit longer. My miles were credited around one week after travel date.
However I think this is a minor inconvenience - To have miles credited after 48 hours do not give any significant added value. |
The value is that you dont have to go through the whole retroclaim procedure after 2 weeks. Which one could easily forget..

My miles for a domestic ORY-NCE have not been credited yet (8 days). Is there a bug in the system?
|
A segment flown with KL on Saturday was credited on Sunday - I never received miles over the weekend. The other two segments on the same pnr flown with Regional a couple days earlier still not credited.

Maybe Mokshu could enlight us about that? |
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_3 like Mac OS X; fr-fr) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7E18 Safari/528.16)
Problem seems to be fixed : the miles finally posted that night. |

International is working fine for me. Perhaps related to the regional flights?
|
Something is still failing. My spouse flew Affaires GIG-CDG on 29 May. She was credited fro the connecting CDG-NCE flight but not the GIG-CDG one. We're waiting for the 14 days to finally pass.
|
I experienced this sort of problems recently : International miles were credited as usual, but domestic ones needed respectively 5 and 8 days. Two other legs still pending (two domestic ones).

I'm not seeing any issues, but I've not been on any AF domestic/Régional flights lately. |
Same here. Still waiting for credits of last week flight
|
Frankly have always found the process a bit hit and miss. And while its no big deal once the miles do eventually post, it is a bit of a pain to have to keep such a close eye on the process.
If there was an equally regular delay in deducting miles for award tickets it might even the score a little.:D |
One of the two missing legs (one TLS/RNS on monday 8) posted yesterday night (7 days), still waiting for the RNS/TLS on friday 12.
|
Miles from the LHR trip 4 days ago are not in the account. So that is not related to domestic flights only.
|
miles from CDG-EDI 6 days ago and EDI-CDG 4 days ago have not posted yet
|
Would the delay only happen on flights operated by AF subsidiaries ?

I have to fight for 50% of my credits, especially those with partner airlines and non-airline partners. But even AF flights have gone missing lately. I am currently trying to get credit for a flight from Corsica to mainland France. But when it comes to mileage-wrestling there are worse airlines. Try TAM, for example.

For Intl. flights, it still stakes a week. |

25% success rate
Flew 4 legs in business class earlier this month. International. Only one leg is credited. The MIDDLE leg (AMS-MEM). My Gold Elite number on every boarding pass.
Only the middle leg--I think you have to work hard to achieve this level of incompetence. |
100% failure rate
I've never had a problem with miles posting (for probably 8-10?) years, until 2010. No flight this year has registered properly, and I remain in a state of frustration with the online retro claim process. I'm minded to look to other carriers; it's a difficult year to maintain Pt status, and I frankly I need every flight to count. If I have to fight for every single sector my interest is fading rapidly.
Does anyone have any advice, particularly for miles which register with zero credits (these are full-fare business class!) and how to 'get them back'? |

from my most recent flights (EDI, BCN), it takes from 5 to 7 days for miles posting. No difference between mainline AF flights (BCN) and subsidiary-operated flights (WX to EDI). Interestingly (and very strange), when flights are posted, your total number of miles and EQM miles are not updated with the new flight posted. It takes 24 more hours to have the correct total numbers
Does anyone has noticed this also ? |
Hi FTers !
I'm fb since April 2009 (good date ...), and I always got miles credited in 2-5 days. Since the last weeks(months?), it is getting very worse.... around 7 days, and flight not in good order ... I think this is since I applied to the voyageur rewards system .... @Goldorak : I saw the same behaviour, in fact, if you connect to the mobile website, you will see the correct amount of miles in real time, but not on the www (need to wait). I wonder what they are doing with their systems..... but it does not sounds good... Jojocat |
My miles got posted 3-5 days later after taking the flight. However i found out that some of the miles are missing...
