10-abreast in 777
Apparently AF have certain 777-300 aircraft flying about with 10-abreast in Y-class.
I could not find any information on the seatguru site.
Is this true and does anyone have any experience to share on this?
Thanks!

This is on their B777-300ER for their holiday destinations.
Service is: Business, Alize & Tempo.
10 abreast should not be too bad: the diameter of a B777 is only a few inches smaller to a B747.

Thanks.
Maybe a silly question but I'm no expert on fuselages: is the 777-200 fuselage as wide as the 777-300?
Thus the only difference being the length of the plane?
So I guess if EK has 10-abreast we could see this becoming more of a standard in the future?

Doubt it. Only EK has stuck hard and fast to 10 abreast but apparently, that's compensated for by 34" pitch.
Some other airlines had 10 abreast. BA for some Caribbean flights (no FC, small CW/BC cabin) which has now been discontinued (a/c reconfigured to standard 9 abreast). NG (OS) also has/had 10 abreast but only in the 2nd of the 2 C cabins. TG also has/had 10 abreast in regional 772/773s.

Sweet, I'll go out of my way to fly on a 777 sporting a generous 2-3-2 up front and 3-4-3 in the back
For the record, lest AFKL lurkers think the idea is well-received, I vote against it! I quite prefer the 744 with all its nooks and crannies.
