AF Award in Business to MRU Questions - Please Help!

I am looking to perhaps book Business class award tickets for my fiancee and I to Mauritius (MRU) for our honeymoon next June (dep 5/29/2006 or so and returning about two weeks later). I will be redeeming Northwest miles for this trip and, if I'm not mistaken, it should cost me 120k miles for each of us from North America. I'm going to pay out of pocket for a sidetrip to the Seychelles (SEZ) on Air Mauritius or Air Seychelles, too while we're there.

- How far in advance are the award seats released to SkyTeam partners?

- How many extra miles would it cost to add a stopover in Paris, for instance? Is this even possible?

- Do you think that I will be able to find business class availability for those dates and class of service?

- Can I change the award ticket once I 'purchase' it with miles? For what fee?

Anything else that I should bear in mind or consider? I have never booked an award ticket on AF before since I normally fly KE and NW, so I appreciate the help!

Thanks in advance,
~Ben~

The rules will be those of the WP programmes, so whether a stopover is allowed and whether you can change an award ticket and under what conditions are questions for the NW board (or your WP membership guide :) )

Ah - well in that case, then I guess I know the answers. :) I suppose I thought that it would be different for some reason.

peace,
