But are you sure that V is OK for 100pct mileage on AF? The only information that we have is the one you provided but nothing officially in FB literature or website.
The reason I ask is I am booking a long haul flight on 7 June. I have the choice between V and T, the difference being USD125 on the price of the ticket and worth paying to get 100pct miles (about 30,000 including bonuses).
It would be bad if I book V and later only get 25% merely due to lack of proper communication.... and the date is close to the FB launch date that I don't expect more official clarity about this subject before the flight.

Given the question, if the answer was meant to be interpreted the way you did, I would consider it to be at best extremely dishonest and misleading, or at worst a deliberate lie.

PS: Earlier this evening I (again) talked to the U.S. F+ customer service who still claim that 100% of miles flown in Air France L class will remain to be credited in Flying Blue. I will be very disappointed if the answer changes in 6 days. None of my current bookings are L class, but I would find it very disturbing to find out I was lied to. That's not a good way to do business.

I just called Frequence Plus in France yesterday, and have confirmation
that, on Air France flights :

- Long-haul L class earn 25 % miles
- Mid-haul N class earn 25 % miles
- G class (group) earn 50 % miles (this is new)
- U class (travel agencies negociated fares) also earn 50% miles

Very strange to see that with travel agencies negociated fares you get 50% of miles! Would this mean that AF/KLM is trying to get us to NOT book on their website and just get more miles by going to travel agencies?? Also, do they prefer us to now travel in group packages? These are very weird rules which I think should have been upsidedown (ie: as in the L and N classes be awarded 50% and these G&U classes 25%).

Just can't understand this new system..

I agree that it would seem very strange to award 50% mileage for group and travel industry fares, while only 25% for published "L" fares ...

Smile A sigh of relief

According to reliable sources, flights booked on L class will continue to earn 100% flown miles.

Yes, that as well as a free upgrade from full-fare Economy to Business, a pair of Christian Lacroix socks for the plane, and one extra FB Plat luggage tag.

In any case, it seems the question will have to be settled experimentally . So, if there is anyone reading this forum who is due to fly on either of the classes mentioned (AF: L, N, U, G or KL: V, L) after D-Day, could you write back with the miles you were credited?

Thanks

I am pretty sure that they will upload the new accrual table on Monday (B Day). It seems that everything is ready... except the actual figures for L,G,U,N and so on.

However, I am flying AF on Monday and should be able to see the difference (I am flying to UK and my usual 1,000 miles should become 750 with more COS miles).

as I mentionned more than ONE MONTH AGO in the Flying Blue(s) thread :

on domestic flights with AF :

Y/S/B 500 + 500 Miles
W/E/A 250 miles

500 Miles for all other booking classes except N and all mileage/non-rev tickets

on international flights with AF :

G/U 50% miles
N 25% on EUROPEAN Flights
L 25% on long haul Flights

With KLM :

V/E/N 25%

No mileage earning on G

Miles for groups? How many do we need to be?

dctorres + Richelieu + flyaircanada + JOUY31 + chrissxb + blairvanhorn + ALEXIS2004 + me + ...

Could this be called a "group"?
