LAX : change from TBIT to Terminal 5

LAX : change from TBIT to Terminal 5
Has anyone departed/arrived at LAX since AF switched to the DL terminal 5? If so, how was the check in handled i.e. in a seperate area, length of wait? And on arrival how was the immigration/customs handled? Flying out at Christmas time and just want a heads up.
