app problem on android

I just run into an unpleasant issue in the AF app on Android (pixel9). On a two-segment itinerary, I could not select the second boarding pass. Only the first one would show up. Normally I would have luggage and I get a paper bp, but in this case I realised the issue at the security control to enter the Schengen area in CDG. I ended up having to leave and print the bp at a kiosk.

Anyone else had a similar issue? It's strange, I remember not having this problem a few months ago, in my last multi-segment flight without paper BP. I suspect that the button "save in Google wallet" which appears on the first bp somehow messes up the app when I try to scroll to the next one.

Yes I have had this often, also it showing outbound BP on return flights. I prefer paper wherever possible.

There's only one BP which covers the two segments now I thought? Certainly is for the paper and electronic ones I have just now.

Apparently not, the QR of the first BP gave an error when scanned.

I had the same error when flying AMS-LCY on German Airways operated flight few days ago. I have another such booking in a month and it's acting quirky in other ways, e.g. when I go to select seats, the list of flights in the upper row doesn't show this segment (but I can still select seat by choosing the option directly from the itinerary).

I had this at the weekend, flying LHR-CDG-LIS and back. You can get the second BP but it's not intuitive. It's about how you access the booking and one way only shows the first leg BP and another way will show all legs.

I can't replicate the steps now to give better guidance as my trip is complete, sorry.

Two fixes I found:
1. Put the phone in the airplane mode (switching data off likely works too). The option to choose BP then appears, but you may need to kill the app first - if it's been initiated with data/WiFi available, it won't become available until the app is restarted.
2. Links to BP on the Home page still work properly. This is the simpler option, just go there and choose to correct BP right there.

Another new bug is that once check-in for the first flight closed, I lost the ability to change seat on the second flight. This stuck even after the first flight has landed. The solution was to change seat on the second flight via website and suddenly the option also started working in the app too.
