Food options for Biz Class on long haul brunch flight?

Hi there -

We're booked from CDG back to Montreal on the 10:30 a.m. flight leaving Paris. I'm ASSUMING taht at this departure time from CDG that this would be a brunch flight. Does anyone know for sure?

If so, are there like meat options aside from omelets? Can you pre-order something substantial? Not sure if AF allows pre-ordering from set menu items. We don't want an omelet as our main meal in biz class.

Thanks!

It will be lunch (yes, you can pre-order) after departure plus a lighter meal/snack before landing at Montral.

I can't think of a TATL flight with a "brunch". I think the early AF22 flight to JFK gets breakfast, all the other TATL flights get lunch.

Indeed there are none. First and main meal is breakfast lunch or dinner depending on departure time.

OK, let's refer to it as "breakfast" then. Would a 10:30 a.m. departure surely be lunch then? We don't want to fly biz class with breakfast being the main meal. We want something a bit more refined for our main meal.

Thanks!

Yes, 10.30 departure is lunch. I can't remember if the cut off for breakfast main meal is 9 or 9.30, but 10.30 is well into lunch territory.

10:30 departure means they start service roughly an hour later.

Would you expect breakfast at 11:30? 🤣

You can have breakfast in the lounge.

There was a time when AF022 first meal was referred as brunch, if I recall well.

You will receive an email to preorder meals 4-5 days before the departure. There will be 4 choices - red meat, poultry, seafood and vegetarian.

And you can typically preorder through the website or app 14 days before the flight.
