USA-CDG-Oslo (Air France-Air France/Delta-Air France) baggage custom question

USA-CDG-Oslo (Air France-Air France/Delta-Air France) baggage custom question
My family members will fly US city - CDG - Oslo (all Air France)
Another members will fly other US city - CDG - Oslo. (Delta - Air France)
We will have 7-8 hr lay over at CDG and would like to take a quick trip to the Eiffel Tower.
We have to go thru EU immigration at CDG to go out to take a taxi to the tower
How about the our checked baggages?
Do we need to go thru customs at CDG and recheck? Or do we do the customs at Oslo?
(We have Air France-Air France connections / Delta-Air France connections at CDG. Are they different?

Only your handbagage will go thru customs, if you have any.
