OTOH, I would avoid the beef. I asked them to take it out a little early to avoid overcooking. The FA said, dont worry, its not over cooked. Of course what showed up was a measly cut of beef which had been cooked to full grey. The sauce and the polenta cake were also bland, so a disappointing meal as AF goes. The shrimp looked much better!

First timer in AF J for transatlantic travel, usually going with LH F. And what shall I say - AF kicks LHs ... big time. Food was excellence, Champagne MUCH better (believe about 3x retail pricr of what LH is pouring) and flowing freely, service could have not been sweeter or more attentive. Only drawback was lack of proper bedding, thats where LH F bed is the clear winner.
