This menu is already available on this route (just had it). The hot smoked salmon was regular smoked salmon (but very good), accompanied indeed by the horrible quinoa 🙄. I had the shrimps and it was good.

Is there a way to pre-order your choice? The app or website just takes me to the special meals not the standard entrees.

The actual meal choices will appear 14 days before your departure. Before that all youll see is special meal designations.

just had this menu on the JFK - CDG route. The salmon isnt regular smoked salmon, its hot-smoked instead of cold-smoked. But the wording on the menu is confusing, as its still a cold dish. But I thought it was a great appetiser.

OTOH, I would avoid the beef. I asked them to take it out a little early to avoid overcooking. The FA said, dont worry, its not over cooked. Of course what showed up was a measly cut of beef which had been cooked to full grey. The sauce and the polenta cake were also bland, so a disappointing meal as AF goes. The shrimp looked much better!

First timer in AF J for transatlantic travel, usually going with LH F. And what shall I say - AF kicks LHs ... big time. Food was excellence, Champagne MUCH better (believe about 3x retail pricr of what LH is pouring) and flowing freely, service could have not been sweeter or more attentive. Only drawback was lack of proper bedding, thats where LH F bed is the clear winner.

We're 7 days out KL YYZ-AMS and the website/app hasn't changed to allow us to pre-order. Any ideas?

This is the Air France thread.

I don't think KLM does preordering.

Sorry, new to KL/AF, thought they were basically the same airline. I do have my return on AF 10/6. Will look forward to being able to pre-order.

Horrible vegetarian main. Breakfast also bland (why plain yogurt?). Overall rather disappointing.
