Excellent shorthaul meal, smoked fish went very well with the pasta salad with pomegranate. Warm bread and the cream puff for dessert was delicious.

Smoked trout with pasta salad, cheese, warmed bread, hazelnut cream puff
I am confused. Have they finally run out of quinoa?

Does anyone know what the service would be in C class from CDG to TBS? I know the flight is 4 and a half hours so figured it would be a bit upgraded from a European C flight.

No upgrade on the usual service. You can expect to receive the same sort of meal as those shared in this thread. If you have a good Purser, he/she will warm the bread (sad that thats noteworthy nowadays, but there you are).

the service will still be the same unfortunately. Some flight attendants will pretend the A220s dont have ovens for hot meals hence all routes are getting the same cold mini meals but as the link below shows, this has been done to simplify the work of cabin crews and it was negotiated with the unions back in 2020. Yep, it is really hard to heat meals on longer routes if you work for AF.

Fly Georgian Airways instead! It's an old crappy plane, but at least you get proper, HOT food

I flew with them in November last year and wrote a little review about it here: Georgian Airways, CDG - TBS in Business Class - Review

Quinoa salad was surprisingly good, soft chocolate cake was a glutinous mass of artery clogging goodness
