For me having a flexible ticket is the biggest advantage. You usually end up paying about the same or a little less than a Light fare but with added benefits.
As other posters have said, you can usually get them for 25€ during promos and then you’re sure to get a good return.

I buy an ungodly amount of Light domestic fares every month. While I never got any savings per-se (average savings is 1€/leg....) the flexible option prevented me from throwing away a lot of tickets that I before considered expandable. If you fly on a flexible schedule, that's worth every penny (be it 25€ or 50€).
As an aside, I need to say that adding the card completely messed up my AFKL account. Since I bought it, the system can't store my ID/Passport/Payment info anymore, and I have to enter everything again every time I buy a domestic ticket, then call again if I want to add the BlueBiz account.

I received today an email from AF saying that my WE+ card was expiring on 31/03 and so it was time to renew it. But my current WE+ card has been renewed in January and is expiring in 01/2024. Another glitch ?
Did anyone received the same email ?

Julien is likely also working for CNAM in France. I received also the same day an email from CNAM telling me that it's important to screen me for breast cancer and the email was starting by "Dear Mrs Jacqueline Dupont" (fake name here just for the post). I am a man and my name is not Dupont

Departure have to be from French airports (+GVA)
Destination to FR or EUROPE.
Fare: Changeable with no fees, refund with 20€ penalty
Fare: usually 20-30€ below standard fare. In all cases equal or less to Light fare (but with flexibility in the booking)
Luggage: 1 luggage included in the fare (so 2 luggages for elite members)
Usually, there is a discount on the card several times a year. It can be booked from 15 to 25 instead of 49€ Depending on the discount. Probably for Black Friday they will make one.

thanks in advance.
Edit: I just called AF and was told ex-GVA is not eligible...but I trust FTers more than call center staff...! So, would be great if someone who has this WE+ could screenshot a dummy booking GVA-France/Europe r/t and see if the 'Carte Week-End+' tarif shows up...

hi there, I see no mention on the AF website regarding GVA being also an eligible point of departure for the WE+ abonnement, where can I check this info? Or do you have personal experience that it works ex-GVA?
thanks in advance.

I have now been using the weekend card for about 9 months and wanted to ask fellow users if they face the same issues or if I shouldn't. The main hurdles I have been struggling with (nothing that can't be addressed with a simple call to the Plat line, but that might not be the case for everyone):
- Inability to edit my booking myself: this is what shows, (systematically?), on my "Week-end" bookings:

- Inability to select my seat at check-in with the app (I can select it before check-in without any issue and can do the process on a computer and it will then work).

I can't change my WE bookings from the app, but it works fine from the website.

you may have just answered one of the issues I had for the past 4 months. I had 3 CDG RBA flights booked with weekend card, on the 3 of them I lost access to the seat selection after check in. Each time I called or inquired on WhatsApp they said, technical issue but never really solved. As for modification I have not tried on those flights but I have another one booked with weekend card (although a one way this time to FRA) and I am able to modify it.
Noted for the seat, I missed it being reported on a thread - though you mention short & long, but in my case it's "medium" I guess ^^

Well same problem on my return leg, seat map is not accessible. 2 friends on the same flight but without weekend card have access to seat map, a bit annoying, hopefully they fix this some day in the near future.

Maybe it has to do with flights to/from Morocco as both "offvoice" and me have the same issue. I ll see for my next flight but the quick fix was through whatsapp for me when in Morocco, they changed the seat for me very quickly
