After further tests, it's not working at all on AF desktop site (at least for me). But it's working on AF app, but you need to make sure you select the card clicking under your name. For my trip, the saving is -6%. Better than nothing for sure, but not huge. I think this is a consequence of the sharp drop in the price of the card.

Tickets for trips until the end of the year are fully flexible as per the AFKL Covid policy. From Jan 1st 2022, it is understood that we will go back to pre-Covid policies and then the revamped suscription cards come with a very interesting benefit : the WE fare is modifiable and cancellable for a small fee (while the light fare is neither modifiable nor cancellable).
But the card is already interesting before 01/2022 with the reduced fare.

I tried but you get an error message. I tried also booking Y WE fare for the outbound and switch to J for the return but you can't. So the conclusion is that it is for Y only.

Is it still the case that these are only valid from France-originating tickets?

It works on the website, but you have to remember before searching for the fare, to click on "1 passenger" in the search form, click on yourself, and then only it will load the different discount cards you have....

It would be great if AF automatically searches for fares with all possible discount cards (or not), so in my case for no discount + weekend card + abonn card, and then I could choose what fare suits me best... Oh well, that's dreaming

To compare, here is what I have without the weekend card:

And with the weekend-card:

Here it's 10€ less for the week-end card (and the abonn fare was 277€).

And the card gives full SkyPriority benefits? Lounge, fast track security, additional luggage, access to better seats... not bad.

.
I get that tickets are fully flexible until the end of the year. But that is true for all passengers, not just status card holders. And yet, the article mentions status card holders. So what is it that kicks in for status card holders in January? Or is it just the usual poor journalism of Le Figaro?

I rather think these benefits come from the status of the OP, and the +2 XP come from the "carte d'abonnement".

Yes, those are due to my platinum status (I can't simulate a weekend fare without being logged in, and thus without my status taken into account...).

Yes I can confirm that Carte Jeune was already valid on European destinations.

I've been looking at Subscriptions cards for a while now ("thanks"? to remote working but I'm questioning the economic aspect of this decision as I'm not really interested in the flexibility but more driven by the pricing)

For those of you who have this card, what is the €/% difference on a given domestic flight between a normal fare and a subscription fare ?

If your only consideration is price (meaning you usually want to buy a Light fare), then the subscription card/abonn card is not a good choice. It mostly aims at reducing the cost of work-related/last-minute full flex tickets, not light ones booked ahead of time.

E.g for two random flights on TLS/ORY:
  • Wednesday June 23rd / Thursday June 24th - light is 636€ and subscription is 566€ (same flights) - full flex is 766€ - no weekend card
  • Friday July 2nd / Sunday July 4th - light is 165€ and subscription is 353€ (same flights) - full flex is 295€ - weekend card is 154€

Thanks. Yes I did see this on the desktop site, but it never shows me WE fares for EU trips, only for domestic trip, while everything is fine on the App.

Those discount cards do not come with any SkyP/lounge benefits.

Ok. It's just that the screenshots above mention "full SP benefits on AFKL operated flights" for the Carte Weekend. I don't this is driven by the person who has made the fare search having SP status, as otherwise this mentioning would appear for all the fares, but it doesn't (not for Light and Standard, but shown for Flex and Weekend)

Ah, well, I guess it's the usual AF IT being terrible.... But the UX is not great on the desktop site in any case

Sorry, I was not logged in when I searched for light/standard fares...
That's how it looks when logged in:

Does the weekend card only work on flights ex/to FR? Or would I get a discount for something like a return BSL-CDG-WAW?

I just tried, and I was not offered a weekend fare on this routing.
