It appears the 380 for 688/689 CDG-ATL is being replaced with the A350.

The update of the summer program is still on-going. Just received another cancellation on my BOS itinerary. The return flight was already cancelled. For the outbound, I was flying CDG-LHR-BOS with AF/VS and I just received the cancellation for CDG-LHR. The app is already showing a rebooking on a later flight but which makes me arrive in LHR 1 hour after departure of the VS flight .

Hah, you're right! How embarrassing, this is what happens when posting being tired. Actually, before I posted I went back to the source to check if it was FDF or PTP. And when I then wrote my post I had a misconnect between my neurones and wrote Port-au-Prince.

I edited my post

July schedules are loaded and it appears that almost all domestic flights will be operated from CDG.

Loaded or in-the-process-of-being-loaded? I think it's more the latter as things are moving around a bit between yesterday and today. And there are discrepancies between the AF website and for instance expertflyer.

I have flights from Germany to France in July and they just keep getting cancelled and then changed. Dare they cancel those tickets, they were really cheap.
After the 15th it should be clearer what’s possible and what not in regards to travel to France, so I have been told.

A press release from the French government today states that intra-Schengen will be reopened on June 15th (the only restrictions kept in place being with Spain and UK as part of reciprocity). Extra-Schengen borders will start reopening on July 1st, in a progressive and differentiated manner based on risk assessment.

The official press release:
https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/le...taner-12-06-20

But there seems to be no official text yet. As this takes place on Sunday midnight, Monday 15 June 00:00, I doubt that airlines will be notified in time.

Could some French legal specialist confirm the meaning of "en provenance de pays de l'Espace Européen"?
Does it mean that an American national transiting through a European airport will have entry in France?

I am not a legal specialist at all, but I am sure the answer is no. Despite reopening of the inner borders, I am sure passport control will remain in place at arrival in France of Schengen flights and until 1st July, non-Schengen citizens are forbidden to enter France. So an American flying for instance USA-LIS (allowed by Portugal) then LIS-CDG should be blocked in Paris (if not stopped by the airline before boarding). But I understand why you want the "legal view" on this as it could be a different interpretation.

From July 1st, we don't know yet which countries will be allowed but, for the 1st list, I am betting for : Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Turkey, Balkans non-EU, all Asia, Lebanon, Israel*, gulf countries. One unknown important aspect for this list is the reciprocity measures. France has always made clear they want reciprocity, so if they allow citizens from country X, X must admit French citizens without quarantine or other crazy measures. And Asia is clearly out of scope here as most of the countries are turning into complete isolation and total madness for some of them**. I don't think North America will be part of the1st list, or maybe Canada. North Am would likely be part of a 2nd list from mid-July or end july. But that's just my 2c.

* interestingly, TLV is not part of the destinations announced by AF for the summer. It may mean that they have information that Israel is not ready at all to open their borders. But knowing the importance of the traffic between Israel and France in normal times, we may expect that it will change.
** this is OT, but if you want to see an example of total madness for measures taken around Covid, here is Cambodia (released yesterday). Very sad for this lovely country and I hope they will come back to earth quickly, because otherwise the Khmer people will die of poverty in good health covid-wise.
