Will Air France interline luggage to Finnair?

I have a CDG-HEL-NRT (AY/JL) flight, but I need to position from LHR.

I don't want to collect and recheck my luggage, so I was wondering since AF/AY codeshare sometimes if they are able to interline luggage?

Cheers,

AF is able to interline your luggage.
Willing? Yes: when all your flights are ticketed on one ticket (PNR). Otherwise you will have to recheck your luggage.

Not across separate tickets

You mean will they check luggage onto a different carrier on a different ticket. And the answer is no, they won't.

Two years ago I had two separate tickets:
AF CDG-ARN; then BA operated something (AY or IB) ARN-LHR-BOS. I kindly asked at the priority check-in in CDG-2F and they checked my bag all the way through which was a bit surprising. And more surprising it didn't get lost and arrived in Boston.
