Israeli Class Action
 
I just received 1,500 miles due to an Israeli Class Action settlement. Any idea what this is?
In accordance with a settlement that was approved by The District Court of Tel-Aviv-Jaffa on 14 February 2019 in Class Action file No. 4180-06-15, your Flying Blue account was credited with 1,500 Miles.

I did as well. What is this in reference to and why did I receive mileage from a class action rather than money?

Websearching "4180-06-15" klm 2019 leads to a snippet for this page and Hebrew legal site some of which have a Translate button. Clicking that or the Translate button on Chrome shows it's about receiving advertisements in violation of section 30A of the Communications Law.
