CDG-FCO Questions

We are flying early morning (6:55) to Rome. Having never flown within Europe from CDG, I have a few questions and would really appreciate some help.

1. Which terminal at CDG will likely be used?
2. What are the lounge options for the above referenced terminal?
3. Will we be able to purchase duty free before boarding?

As always, thanks for your help.

Assuming your airline is AF...
- Terminal 2F
- AF lounge
- Yes you will have access to "duty free" style shops before your flight, technically there is no "duty free" as the flight is within the EEA, I'm not sure how this is handled in CDG (some airports just have a standard pricing irrespective of the destination, some have different ones)

.
Yes, but is quite expensive and not the best selection. You might want to buy stuff in Italy instead.

2. If you are a pax in J, AF Lounges (one in each of the two F pods). If you have a lounge card, none.
3. What are you after? If it's alcohol wait until you're in Italy. If it's brands, the high end shops are mostly in 2E (non Schengen) so out of bounds. There are a couple of fake duty frees and some macaroons/caviar/chocolate shops in 2F.

Thanks, everyone. I bought what I needed at Total Wine and put it in my checked bag.
