Oversize carryon - Lite fare
I am flying Delta in D1 tonight to LHR. 4 hours after I land I have an AF flight to CDG.
I am going to admit that my carryon (22" Victorinox Werks) maybe an inch or 2 too big for Delta. I also know that since I am in D1 I have a 99.9% chance of them ignoring that issue.
However, my AF flight is in "lite" and I figure they have the right to get picky. Will they gate check it for me? I have no problem paying the fee, I just don't want to have to leave the secure area to go check it!
