La Premiere Seats on non La Premiere flight

Flying BLR-CDG (AF 191) in J in the next few days. The equipment shows as the 777-300ER, with BEST seats (1-2-1 config). There is no La Premiere on this route, any way you can select those seats, with J service, obviously? FWIW, Silver status with FB.

Thanks!

Now you should try to pay the 300 EUR for La Premium ground service in CDG (if you have a connection of course) so you can have 75% of La Premičre experience for a bargain price

Great idea! I wonder if airport staff will be able to release these seats or if they are blocked for pilot rest etc.

I don't understand this thread and question asked by OP
Can you clarify ?
There is no P on this route, so the classes of travel available are J/W/Y.
The J seats are the BEST ones on this route, i.e. in 1-2-1 config. Those are not P seats, but J. Again, I may have completely missed your point, so would appreciate a clarification from you.
Boturham and paris1000 like this.

Same here, except I assume as the aircraft is a 777-300ER there is an assumption that there will be unused P seats. If true then the first row of J will be row 3. Can the OP confirm?

Even if true I would expect those seats to remain blocked.

All true, There is no La Premiere on this route, but on certain days is served with a 777-300ER, which features a La Premiere cabin. Was just wondering if it was possible to be seated there. It's a shame they are blocked! Should be released to FB elites at check-in. :P

Really ? I am quite surprised of this, because they don't have that much B777W with P so they need them for the P routes. Was that rather last minutes substitution because originally assigned aircraft went tech ?

There are some 77W with BEST scheduled on this route for February 18, 19, but no flight on 20.
Are they any BEST 77W without F? If not,the OP question seems legitimate. The way I interpret it is: can you select those seats even with J service?

No (edited from yes which was a mistake)

I never said the question was not legitimate. Just that the initial post was unclear.

That was indeed OP's question after clarification. Answer is no.

Are there right now? Thought it's still 772 and 77W with P that have BEST seats. Until later in the year COI gets a retrofit.

Apologies : I made a mistake in responding to Brunos post (and I have edited my post) : there are no BEST B77W without P. I thought there were some but I had suddenly a doubt reading you and after having checked, the answer is definitely no.

Apologies Goldorak. I That was not meant as a specific criticism of your post.
Like you, I am extremely surprised that they would use a 77W with P on a J-only route. There must be something special as this happens just on 18/19 Feb then no flight on 20, while this is usually a daily flight.
