8 Hour Layover in Paris (USA -> CDG -> VIE)
We're planning on flying in to Paris on our way to Vienna. The USA -> France flight lands around 8am. Then the France -> Austria flight leaves around 8pm.
With that, we're looking to hang out in Paris for a fair portion of the day.
Would we have to recheck baggage or experience any other stumbling blocks? They're both Air France flights.

Pretty sure there's plenty of other fairly recent discussion here about ~12 hour layovers, if you poke around, including luggage storage (for your carry-ons, either at CDG or lockers at Gare du Nord), transportation, arrivals lounge, etc.
