CDG Terminal 2E to Terminal 1

Arriving from LAX to CDG terminal 2E and need to transfer to Terminal 1 to fly to BCN.
All flights are Air France/Joon, Business/Sky Priority and carry on luggage only. My layover is 3 hours.
I imagine we have to go through passports than take CDGVAL train to Terminal 1 and then security at Terminal 1?
I was wondering how long the transfer would take?

Yes, you'll have to go through passport control at 2E (as you'll be arriving in Schengen) and then take CDGVAL to Terminal 1 and then security.

Not sure what you mean by all flights are Air France/Joon. They don't fly out of Terminal 1.

Depending on time of day it could take as little as 45 minutes, or could take 2+ hours.

Appreciate your reply. Yes, you are correct, I noticed my mistake.
Actually flying from 2F
So, 2E to 2F will faster but still passports (arriving in Schengen).
Will there be another security check between 2E and 2F?

I regularly make 50 minute 2E to 2G transfers (only T1 would be further) with 20-30min to spare, so don't worry about 3hrs.

Connections 2E to 2F with photos

2E to 2F is pretty easy. Yes to both passport control and security. Going the opposite direction, 2F to 2E is only passport control, no need to re-clear security.
