5 Euro isn't a worry. Uber has had a range of about 30 Euros when I've checked (40s to 70s), which is more of a concern. With a fixed price, the driver's incentive is the most efficient route. Without, they make more money with a longer ride.
On the booking page, you use prebook, then enter your time/date and itinerary. They will give the fixed fare.
Then you confirm.
The fare is dependent on date and time, but it is fixed once you make the booking. If you book at rush hour, the calculated fare will be much higher. I just did a booking for Sunday and the fare is 47.99.
But I think that you need to be a registered user with a credit card number in their system that is debited automatically.
For prebooking, I find it much more reliable than UBER. G7 is also good as mentioned by JOUY31.
I avoid websites which are less used in Paris.
Lecab uses nice car, good drivers (mostly), and nice to have their ipad with music

We ended up with LeCab. Driver was a bit early. 47.99 Euros

Nice car. Silent driver.

ETA: traffic at CDG is amazing.

Passport and security weren't bad. Decent lounge. Much walking.

Yep. Everything worked well. I was surprised the LeCab app didn't bring us to a driver rating and tipping screen.

You have this on the iPad in the car. It should have popped-up on the screen shortly before arriving at destination.

Strange.
I used Lecab hundred times and always had one on the back of the front passenger seat.

Not for this car. We definitely noticed the back of the front passenger seat, because there was no headrest.

LeCab otherwise worked very nicely. Thanks again.

I took one this Sunday with no iPad. SO I asked the driver and he said that Lecab had decided to remove all of them. Must be very recent as I had one the week before. He mumbled some explanations that did not make much sense. He also said that I could still rate and tip using the app. Silly, as I was going to check-in at the airport.
