And I posted the direct link a few posts above to the La Premičre Lounge page that you get directed to when making the appropriate selectionsLa Premičre lounge page. No mention of guests on that page either!
So I am really curious as to where that text above is found "live" on the Air France website!!!

Ah...ok.
Thanks for that.
But I think it's clear oversight on their part. Status typically never counts for much in FIRST lounges, so I don't think they really mean that Platinums in First can bring, say, a colleague departing soon on a HOPˇ flight

You infer that from my evidence but I don't. The La Premiere lounge is not an ordinary lounge. Look, if you really want to know the true situation give them a call. There's a high degree of exclusivity when it comes to the LP lounge at CDG and long may that continue. I'll concede that the information isn't very clear to those who have never experienced the lounge, I've overheard a few conversations near the lift which convince me that the dragons are extremely strict. I've even seen a former UK prime minister turfed out

For obvious operational reasons (all PAX get escorted to the gate, most of them in a limo), you need to travel on the same flight, because you will both be driven in the same car to the plane.

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to my first visit (with husband and teen-aged son) in April. Son is in coach, but it sounds like we'll be able to get him into the lounge.

Can the OP tell us please how the conversation with the Dragons went when arranging for the guest to enter? How busy was the lounge and did the guest have access to all the facilities (food, premium alcohol, etc.).
I've been in there a few times now, sometimes the dragons are very relaxed and other times they check everything. One time I had my ticket inspected every time I returned from a smoke/shopping trek.
Now I'm no snob, I think it's great that people can enjoy such luxury and it would be great if all travel was like it for everyone. The La Premiere is marketed as something exclusive however and this is reflected in the cost of using it either through ticket price or purchased entrance fee. If I'm paying a premium and some other random person gets all the facilities for nowt then I wonder if I'm the muggins. Next time I might just hover near the lift and ask someone to guest me in.

Sorry to dredge up a dead thread. I have a friend traveling in Y on the same flight CDG-JFK while I am in La Premiere. He has a separate reservation with a DL flight #. Will this pose a problem for providing him guest access to the lounge?

Following up on this a bit late but we’re you able to get your Son into the lounge without much problem? Curious if the DL flight # posed an issue for them.
