But where did you get this confirmation.
I have been disappointed so many times in the past couple of years, when AF scheduled a restart and cancelled a few weeks before.
They seem to schedule a 77W with 42 NEV J seats in January and a 772 with 40 BEST J seats in February. 3 times a week.
Meanwhile, CX is moving from 5 to 6 weekly and reinstating F on 18 Jan.

Granted, that wouldn't be the first time they give wrong information... But we are less than 4 weeks away, and the newsflow being what it is, I tend to trust them.

Ugh booked award SFO-CDG on June 20 because it had space on evening flight. Evening flight vanished, so now we're on the afternoon flight. I believe the previous schedule had 3x daily on this route and now it's down to 1 (on this Tuesday at least). I'm going to ask about moving up or back a day for free but not optimistic.

For the summer timetable, some confirmations and some real news I think:
- AF no longer flies to the Dominican Republic (SDQ, PIJ)
- ORY-JFK will not return in summer
- CDG-YYZ increased, up to 2x daily
- CDG-MSP back to daily
- CDG-ATL increased to 18x weekly
- CDG-IAD seeing temporary reductions till June, then back to 3x daily
- CDG-SXM increased to 10x week (but I think ORY-SXM will not come back)
- CDG-ICN back to 6x week till end June, then back to 1x daily
- CDG-KIX increased to 5x week
- CDG-HND increased to 11x week
- CDG-MAA increased to 4x week till end June
- CDG-JNB increased to 13x week starting Setpember
- CDG-COO increased to 6x week

Personally, I regret the ORY-JFK flight not coming back. Although less used, ORY-SXM was also convenient.
A pity to see how AF dances with ORY. Surges of interest are then followed by decreases in activity, then a new wave of activity, etc. They have a nice facility in T3 land-side now, the ground experience/lounge in T3 non-Schengen air-side is very nice as well, the Schengen side is good enough. Pity they don‘t make more of that.

Agreed on not seeing ORY-JFK coming back, really disappointed.
I guess AF is really trying to maximise its JV with Delta; not like anyone wished for any more capacity to ATL or MSP. Because yes, the US Midwest is exactly where every European wants to take a summer holiday.
On the flip side, happy to see Asia is easing back to life on the AF schedules.

Apparently it's not new but I didn't see it before : extension of Cayenne to Belem service, once a week with A320 (Carribean network).
AF602 CAY1540 – 1715BEL 320 5
AF603 BEL0935 – 1110CAY 320 6
Surprising to see the aircraft (and crew obviously) having to overnight in BEL.

China (mainland + HKG) flights resumption
As you likely know, AF operates limited flights to mainland China with a stop in ICN (to avoid crews having to endure the Chinese conditions until recently) + limited flights nonstop to HKG. Here is the flight schedule announced for the return to a more normal schedule. I should put the word normal between brackets as we are very far from the schedule pre-covid. And everything is obviously focused on PEK and PVG for mainland (no news of CAN and WUH yet). I was thinking about that recently and I was wondering where they will find the aircrafts for this as I believe they have filled the gap with new routes that seems to be successful and they continue to announce new routes like YOW very recently. One first information will be posted in the next post.
So, here is the flight schedule released by AF :

AF stops seasonal MSP service
This AF service to MSP was always seasonal (summer) and was complementing the daily DL service. I believe AF needs to find planes to restart China/HKG routes and MSP is a natural cut. DL will compensate adding a 2nd daily flight during the peak period)

I'm flying MSP-CDG next week and was disappointed to see AF metal wasn't an option. I could've flown VS to LHR and then AF to CDG (and MPL) but that seemed like an unncessary hassle and I wanted to avoid 2 connections.
