Air France business class

I am making my first trip on AF from CDG to ATL on 777-300 in December. The seats we received at booking are 6E and 6F. I like that it is the smaller cabin but will the proximity to the galley and one lavatory be too disruptive for a day flight.
I can move to 5A and 6A in the smaller cabin but prefer to sit together with my wife.
We can always move back into the larger cabin. Thank you for your insights.

Welcome to Flyertalk MC ZR
personally, I prefer to be in the front smaller cabin, and if I were you I would stay with the 2 middle seats E/F. It’s much better when you travel with someone.

I would advise caution. AF uses a mix of 772 and 77W (777-300ER) to ATL. Most to the 77W have old non-flat seats with no F class. All 772 have BEST (flat) seats. Even if they sometimes schedule a 77W with BEST, it can be switched to an "old" config at any time.

This having been said, which practical advice would you give to the OP?

Yikes, I didn't realize AF was still flying the antiquated 777W configuration to US,
I have a flight on the 777W coming up, but since its out of JFK I assume it safe

Can't imagine a 777W with no La Premier on this route

But last minute swaps are always possible plus the 380 flys angle flats on this route

Still possible. Took AF22 last May and it was operated by a 77W in leisure config (no P, old J but B&B Y cabin).
And took AF682 less than a month ago with old cabin in all classes.

On a positive note, it did not look like there was any equipment swap, so if your booking currently shows new cabins you can still keep your fingers crossed!

while 682 is usually operated by an "old" 77W, AF688 is usually operated by a 772 (hence BEST) and once in a while a 77W with BEST.

Yeah my booking does currently show 77W with BEST (58J) its AF 6/7
I have my fingers crossed though I know last minute equipment swaps are always possible.

By the way what does B&B mean?
