After several messages with AF UK (and more precision due to my mention of this forum)
I had this answer:
"We can confirm that passengers who purchased a La Première ticket and departs from London Heathrow will benefit from La Première ground service. This is a high-end product that gives customers who have bought a ticket in La Première cabin: a personalized welcome service, a dedicated accompaniment through the customs and the access to the lounge."
So, wait and see next week.

On a side note, I find a bit surprising that they are confusing between customs and security...

Just to add to the London side of things - I have always had a phone call from ( to borrow from the BA forum ) special services a couple of days ahead of the flight ( and if you are UK based they will send you a card with their contact details on it ). Check in is a bit hit and miss - I have never seen a first class desk and just use the normal business class one. Sometimes at check in they will ask if you want an escort to the lounge / sometimes not. To be honest if you ask for one by the time they arrive you could probably have already made it to the lounge!
At the lounge the La Premiere boarding pass should prompt the reception to open up the VIP area - for me the most welcome benefit is being escorted from the lounge to the aircraft, skipping the lines and boarding first.
Never had any welcome on arrival back into London - and on my last flight to Hong Kong my bag didn't make the connection in Paris despite almost 4 hours in CDG.

I fly on a fare basis J but I am given a seat in P (op up). No P ground service as I paid for J, which I can understand.
However, if you fly with a stopover in CDG on a P fare, like NYC CDG CPH, no P ground service on CDG CPH because you are no in P on CDG CPH and you are not transfering from a P flight... although you have paid for P also on this flight, fare basis is still F*** or P***. Which is not logical

So doesn't necessarily need to tie to the fare basis code.

In other stations, you are supposed to be systematically met by the station manager or his/her deputy on duty and sometimes they do more than what the book requires. In DUS and WAW, I have been escorted by the station manager from check-in to lounge and from lounge to aircraft. In TUN, nothing apart the welcome greeting but then you are on your own.

Variable at MAN. Offered escorts to lounge once and cordoned off area in Escape lounge once but always a table prepared with newspapers and snacks. Escorted from gate to seat only on last P flight. On arrival... Nothing at all. My travel patterns over the next months were pointing towards ultimate status but I'm not sure if I'll bother by what I read on the ulti thread. Very tempted to switch to ME3. Pity as I love the P on 77W.

Sure about LHR, GVA, ZRH, AMS, NCE. I think BOD too. I may forget some.

AF La première service is very mixed at the London end. If your booking starts in London, a VIP service person will usually phone you beforehand to tell you that they will open the first class check in especially for you (there isn't actually one, as there are no First Class flights, but it's a way of telling you they'll be expecting you).
If they don't phone you (as happened to me once), at check-in they'll ask if you want to be accompanied to the lounge. And, even if they have phoned you they still often ask you the question, and you might have to wait while they get someone to go with you. If, as I did once, you unthinkingly say, "thanks, I know where it is", you'll make your own way through Fast Track, arrive in the lounge and get nothing special at all.
