CDG arrival information for a first timer

I'm arriving from CAN at Terminal 2E and will be transferring to the TGV. Travelling in J (or F if things go according to plan!). Flight scheduled to arrive at 0650, but is frequently up to an hour late. There is a direct TGV to my final destination departing at 0956...then another with a change at around 1135. Is there priority arrivals queue for J passengers? Travelling on an NZ passport. Luggage will be priority. Is it likely to be safe booming the 0956 TGV, or should I delay?

As the issue you have raised relates to the AF hub at CDG, I am moving it to the Air France forum. Thanks for your understanding.

Yes, there is a priority lane at immigration and yes you can plan to take a train 3 hrs after arrival.

With all all due respect, the flight is a CZ flight and the arrivals profile is different (AF arrivals have a far better on-time hit than CZ). I should have identified the airline in the original post-sorry.

This is the proper forum for your question as it is the best forum for CDG.
Furthermore CZ is part of ST and codeshares with AF.

Three hours is plenty. Even if your flight arrives an hour late, that should be fine. Of course, if it arrives 3 hours late, it won't work. And if it arrives five hours late the 11:30 train is not good either. But posters here cannot give you an estimate on your CZ flight delay.

Once you exit the airport after bag delivery, the train station is some 10 minutes walking and it is not a big one. There will be some security there. Of course, there can always be a long wait at immigration (the major bottleneck), but with no wait at immigration it will take you less than one hour from disembarking the plane to your train platform.
