Having finally done my first flight in the new AF F, I would fully agree with Orbitmic and San Gottardo. All the top F products have some pluses and minuses, but they are all great unless you get noisy neighbors (snoring, chatting, crying child) or poor FAs.
The new AF seat is now comparable to the standard F seat facing-forward found on many 777 (LX, NH, JL, SQ,..). It is way better than the old AF sideways F seat or BA seats (except possibleywindow seats on A380). The single row makes the cabin a bit claustrophobic and I don't like the lack of privacy (I am not a big fan of the curtain). I still prefer CX seat.
AF beats most others on ground service.
But the food and wine selection is somewhat limited (not surprising with only 4 seats and typically a couple of pax as on my flight). Actually the wines are quite mediocre compared to competitors and that is an important parameter for me.
But again an excellent product in the top ten. Halas, there are only 76 such seats in the whole AF network.

Most captains in the long haul fleet are of a more advanced aged, and so are typically their wives. Which pushes the average age in the Premiere cabin up a little bit.

Thanks regarding the dress code. And regarding daughters it's better to book P cabin with China Eastern. Third question from (young) FA will be whether you're married ...

And China Eastern First class suites on 777 are really impressive. Business class is Zodiac Cirrus (full version, not AF lightweight).

Hi all - I can't recall seeing this discussed.
How many flight attendants serve first class? I would guess one primary, but there would likely need to be another one assisting during mealtimes, as I imagine there's a fair amount of galley work required to prep the food, and you wouldn't want the pax getting thirsty out there. Two dedicated FAs seems excessive, especially if the cabin isn't full.
Also, looks like there are two lavatories per the AF seat map - is that correct?
(I hated LX F with only one lav for eight pax!)
